Dr. Nace Pušnik (SFHEA, FRSA) is an educator, researcher, and practitioner from Slovenia with a multidisciplinary background in design. His work spans analog and digital media, creative foundations, graphic design, typography, and visual communication design. He specializes in usability and user experience (UX), focusing on how typography, color, composition, and other graphic elements shape engagement and functionality across platforms. His research and practice often explore the intersection of design, technology, and human behavior, with the goal of creating visually compelling and user-centered solutions. Since 2009, he has combined academic rigor with real-world practice, teaching internationally and contributing to the evolution of design education through an integrated approach that connects teaching, research, and practical innovation. His work in the classroom emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and the development of adaptable design skills suited for rapidly changing technological environments. He earned his PhD in Graphic & Interactive Communications, Design, and Technology in 2016. His ongoing work reflects a commitment to transforming theoretical insights into meaningful, applied results.
